Ethiopian Wedding | African Bridal
Destination weddings are exciting and continuously growing in popularity. This particular destination wedding took place in Ethiopia. The bride and groom wanted to capture the essence and culture of Ethiopia in their pre wedding photos.Â
They chose traditional dressings and selected the city of Harar; a walled city in the eastern part of Ethiopia. Harar is a city bursting at the seams with colour, culture and history. This historic place had the bride and groom in front of the most stunning backdrops the city had to offer.
After discussing the bride’s vision for this photoshoot, I chose a look that was simplistic, yet sophisticated. Focusing on the bride’s natural beauty, I added a subtle smokey eye with beautiful neutrals, a soft, yet defined contour, a hint of colour on the cheeks and rose toned colour on the lips. The bride’s hair was beautiful; I added some soft curls and set with a flex-spray to ensure the hair still had lots of movement. ?Adding the gorgeous gold headpiece really completed the look!
